Dr. Joel Wallach begins the show today discussing the COVID 19 numbers of infections and deaths in the U.S. and India. Comparing the numbers between the two countries. Stating that countries that eat a traditional western diet don't fare as well as cultures that eat an Asian diet. Also stating that people eating gluten aren't going to have a good outcome if they contract COVID 19.

Doug Winfrey and Dr. Wallach discuss a news article regarding a study from Portugal. The study follow almost 5000 people for five years that had chronic kidney disease. Tracking their caffeine intake. Dividing them into four groups one group got the caffeine equivalent of a cup of tea. Group 2 got the equivalent of one cup of coffee. Group 3 got the equivalent of two cups of coffee. Group 4 got the equivalent of four cups of coffee. Those in the last group lowered their risk of death by 24%.

Finding that those with the highest blood levels of magnesium had a reduced risk of bone fractures by 44%. The study found the best way of getting magnesium was not through food intake. But rather through supplementation.
