Researchers gave participants a lower neuropsychological tests at the start of the study. Gave some walnuts and others no walnuts followed them for two years. Participants that scored at the lower end benefited from the walnuts the most of all. Doc asserts that the walnuts are beneficial because of the omega 3 essential fatty acids.
