A Chinese study found that people who consumed the most Allium vegetables had a 79% lower colorectal cancer risk compared to those who ate the least. Researchers recommend people eat 35lbs of Allium vegetables per year. That's 1.5 oz or one onion every day.

Separating them into two groups giving one group 30mg of saffron daily for six weeks. The other group getting the standard treatment of Ritalin. After six weeks researchers found that saffron worked just as well as Ritalin at addressing ADHD symptoms.
