Doug Winfrey and Dr. Wallach discuss a news article regarding a study from the Imperial College London. Researchers analyzed 95 studies involving almost 2 million people. That included 43,000 cases of heart disease, 47,000 cases of stroke, 81,000 cases of cardiovascular disease and 94,000 deaths. Finding that those who ate 2.5 portions of fruits and vegetables daily had an 18% reduced risk of stroke, a 16% lower risk of heart disease and a 13% lower risk of cardiovascular disease.
