Doug Winfrey and Melissa Golladay discuss a news article about potassium deficiencies. A 2015 Swiss study that found maintaining a potassium-sodium balance helps keep blood pressure stable. The article also acknowledged the work of MD Max Gerson from the 1940s and 1950s. Gerson noticed that his cancer patients had low potassium levels. Research from the 1970s found that low potassium levels are linked to an increased risk of cancer.
