A study has found that those who are vitamin D deficient have double the risk of developing pancreatic and colorectal cancers. One study of 80,000 participants found that those taking a vitamin D supplement lowered their risk of dying of any cancer by 13%. It's believed that vitamin D boosts the immune system, regulating cell growth and making cancer cells less aggressive.

This powerful antioxidant is effective in addressing several health challenges including nonalcoholic fatty liver disease. A common problem afflicting some 30 to 40% of adult Americans. The study found that supplementing CoQ10 reversed the symptoms of nonalcoholic fatty liver disease. Some in the study even went back to normal liver function.
