It's long been known that eating ultra processed foods leads to several health challenges including cancer, cardiovascular disease and early death. This strictly controlled study found those eating ultra processed foods consumed 508 more calories and gained two pounds in two weeks. Those eating whole made from scratch foods actually lost two pounds in two weeks.
