Pearls of Wisdom
Doug Winfrey and Dr. Wallach discuss a news article concerning vitamin D3 deficiencies. A study has found that those who are vitamin D deficient have double the risk of developing pancreatic and colorectal cancers. One study of 80,000 participants found that those taking a vitamin D supplement lowered their risk of dying of any cancer by 13%. It's believed that vitamin D boosts the immune system, regulating cell growth and making cancer cells less aggressive.
