With each additional sugary beverage the risk of cardiovascular disease increases by 10%. Doug Winfrey and Dr. Wallach discuss a news article regarding a young girl who died. The child died from an appendicitis after being misdiagnosed with a viral infection. Doctors did not put their hands on the child but made their diagnosis off of the symptoms outlined by the five year old patient. Sending the girl home telling the parents to give her plenty of fluids.
