Dr. Jole Wallach begins the show today discussing so called genetic diseases. Stating that there are no genetic diseases. Contending diseases called genetic are all due to nutritional deficiencies. Asserting they are due to the mother being deficient during conception or gestation. Speculating that if all women of child bearing age supplemented with all 90 essential nutrients these diseases would be wiped out.

Doug Winfrey and Dr. Wallach discuss a news article regarding a study of black tea. The study found that diabetic rats given 100mg of black tea extract saw blood glucose levels go down. Also restoring carbohydrate metaboizing enzymes to near normal levels. Insulin production increased as well.

Doug Winfrey and Dr. Wallach discuss a U.S. and China research study on red sage. Finding a link between red sage root and a slowing of hepatocellular carcinoma the most common type of liver cancer. The red sage inhibits the growth of cancer cells. Concluding that red sage can stop the growth of liver cancer by triggering cancer cell apoptosis. Doc states that he wants to know where the sage was grown. Because there will be different nutrients in different areas.
