Doug Winfrey and Dr. Wallach discuss a news article regarding a study from Pennsylvania State University. Finding that those eating an avocado daily during the study period. Ended up lowering their levels of LDL (low density lipoprotein) or bad cholesterol. Many also lost weight during the study period. Researchers believe it is due to the high levels lutein.

Dr. Joel Wallach begins the show today discussing the Covid 19 numbers. With infection rates and deaths going up. Another 2500 deaths have occurred since yesterday and another 58,000 plus infections. Comparing the populations that eat wheat products with Asian populations that don't eat wheat products. Those not eating wheat have a lot less infections and deaths by comparison.

Doug Winfrey and Dr. Wallach discuss a news article regarding a study of the health benefits of clove extract. The study found that those taking 250 milligrams of clove extract decreased their blood sugar levels following meals. With pre-diabetics also lowering their blood sugar levels and did not advance to full blown diabetes.
