Namely fatty liver disease that left unchecked can lead to a number of health challenges. Outlining several common foods that the body turns into sugar in the blood.

Doug Winfrey and Ben Fuchs discuss a news article regarding a study of air pollution and exercise. The study from the UK tested the effects of subjects over the age of 60 walking either in a park or a busy city street. Participants were divided into three groups depending on whether they had heart disease or COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease). They were randomly assigned to walk two hours on London's busy Oxford Street or the open spaces of the 350 acre Hyde Park. Those walking the park had improvements in lung capacity and function. As well as reduced stiffness of the arteries that lasted for up to 26 hours. While those walking the street had minor increase in lung capacity and a rise in arterial stiffness.

Contending that congenital birth defects are due to nutritional deficiencies. Contending the mother was missing nutrients either during conception or gestation of the fetus.

Doug Winfrey and Dr. Wallach discuss a European study of coffee drinking. The study of over half a million europeans from 10 countries found coffee drinkers have a reduced risk of death from all causes. Those drinking 3 to 5 cups of coffee daily have a lower risk of developing circulatory diseases and digestive diseases. This also held true for decaffeinated coffee drinkers as well.
