Doug Winfrey and Dr. Wallach discuss a news article concerning a study of weight loss. Researchers finding that patients with existing coronary artery disease who went on yo-yo diets had increased risk of heart disease. A yo-yo diet described as people losing weight then gaining it all back. Those with the largest weight changes had 136% more strokes, 117% more heart attacks and 124% more deaths.
