Monologue
Dr. Joel Wallach begins the show today discussing baby boxes. A growing trend is to put sleeping babies into specially designed cardboard boxes. Supposedly to prevent SIDs (sudden infant deaths) by not allowing babies to sleep on their stomachs. Doc contends that the main stream medical industry has the cause of SIDs all wrong. Asserting that SIDs are caused by cardiomyopathy heart attacks due to a single nutrient deficiency.

Doug Winfrey and Dr. Wallach discuss a news article about essential oils. Outlining 8 essential oils that have antibacterial properties. The oils cinnamon, tea tree, grapefruit, thyme, oregano, bergamot, clove and lemongrass oils all have these properties. Many also have antimicrobial, antiviral and antifungal properties as well. Some have anti-inflammatory properties in addition.
