Doug Winfrey and Dr. Wallach discuss an Italian study of omega 3 fatty acids. Dividing 461 people into 2 groups one got an olive oil placebo. The other group received an omega 3 supplement. Both groups also were fed fatty fish. The omega 3 supplement group increased their red blood cells oliec acid levels to 8 to 12%. Thus reducing the risk of cardiovascular disease.

Contending these proservatives damage blood vessels. Telling people to stay away from oils and fried foods. Asserting that burnt or well done meats should also not be eaten.

Doug Winfrey and Dr. Wallach discuss a news article about people killed by opioid pain killers. The people were patients at Gosport War Memorial Hospital in England. More than 450 patients died from opioid pain medications with no medical justification for the prescription. Despite warnings from nurses that there was an institutionalized regime of prescribing dangerous doses of these drugs that were not clinically necessary.
