Doug Winfrey and Dr. Wallach discuss a news article regarding a study from the University of Oxford. The study followed nearly 50,000 people for 18 years. Finding that vegans and vegetarians were more likely have either an ischemic or hemorrhagic stroke than those eating meat. All involved in the study had no history of stroke. In fact the vegans and vegetarians were 20% more likely to suffer a stroke compared to meat eaters.
