Dead Doctors Don't Lie 04/11/19

Dr. Joel Wallach begins the show discussing a report that came out a few years ago that states children of today won't out live their parents. Asserting that this is appalling and should not happen ever in America. Stating the reason our grandparents lived long lives was because they had nutrients in their foods. Contending that in their youth they heated their homes and cooked with wood. Putting the wood ash in their gardens because the wood ash was actually minerals.

Pearls of Wisdom

Doug Winfrey and Dr. Wallach discuss a news article about a large study of alcohol. Moderate drinking is considered to be two drinks daily for men and one for women. A drink consisting of 5 ounces of wine, 12 ounces of beer and a 1.5 ounce of hard alcohol. Asking over 500,000 Chinese men and women about their drinking habits. Finding that those drinking moderately had an increased risk of hypertension and stroke. It should be noted that most of the people in the study were drinking hard alcohol.
