Pearls of Wisdom
Doug Winfrey and Dr. Wallach discuss a news article about preventing colds in children. Researchers survey more than 1100 parents from across the U.S. Finding that a majority of the parents follow evidence based recommendations to avoid catching a cold. They also found that 71% of parents also try non-evidence based strategies. On average children get three to six per year sometimes lasting for up to two weeks.
