Dead Doctors Don't Lie 01/18/19

Dr. Joel Wallach begins the show discussing SIDS (sudden infant death syndrome). Contending that he sued the FDA to require selenium be added to infant formulas. Asserting that now SIDS rarely ever happens because the selenium is now in the formulas. Citing several other "wins" by Youngevity that helps reduce the incidence of several health challenges.

Pearls of Wisdom

Doug Winfrey and Dr. Wallach discuss a news article about a study from Tufts University. A study of nearly 4000 adults found that those who got less than six hours of sleep daily had a higher risk of cardiovascular disease. Compared to those who got seven to eight hours of sleep those getting less than six were 27% more likely to develop preclinical atherosclerosis. They also found those getting more than eight hours of sleep had an increased risk of cardiovascular disease.
