Pearls of Widom
Doug Winfrey and Dr. Wallach discuss new activity guidelines released by the U.S. Department of Health and Human services. The guidelines state even a little exercise is beneficial compared to no exercise at all. Adults are supposed to get 150 to 300 minutes of moderate to vigorous aerobic activity each week. Children ages 6 to 17 are supposed to get one hour of moderate to vigorous activity daily. Another chage to the guidelines now including kids 3 to 5 years old should be getting three hours of activity daily.
