Dead Doctors Don't Lie 10/10/18

Dr. Joel Wallach begins the show discussing the fact that professional athletes don't live as long as the average couch potatoe. Despite getting the best health care and diets. Contending this is becasue the atlhletes sweat out nutrients and if the don't supplement they will be deficients. Asserting that exercise without supplementation is suicide.

Pearls of Wisdom

Doug Winfrey and Dr. Wallach discuss a news article about a study of artichokes. The study found that compounds in artichokes can help prevent diabetes. Both type 1 and type 2 were seen to be affected in rats that got the artichokes in their diet. Doc disagrees contending that type 1 and type 2 diabetes have different causes. Contending that they both can be controlled through diet and supplementation.
