The report states that thousands of foster children are being prescribed psychiatric drugs without follow up. The prescriptions are for disorders like ADHD, anxiety, PTSD, depression, bipolar disorder and schizophrenia. The inspector general found that 1 in 3 foster kids are getting mood altering drugs.
