Estimating there will be about 18 million new cases of cancer globally this year and 9.6 million deaths. Up from a 2012 report that had 14 million new cases of cancer and 8 million deaths. More than half of the deaths will occur in Asia as they have 60% of the worlds cancer cases. Europe has about 23% of cases the Americas accounting for 21% and Africa with 7% of cases.
