Dead Doctors Don't Lie 07/16/18

Dr. Joel Wallach begins the show discussing the "good food" and "bad food" lists. Stating people should stay away from oils, well done meats, processed meats and foods containing gluten. Contending people should be eating nuts, fruits, green leafy vegetables and meats cooked medium rare. Also recommending people do various tests at home to save money. That way if something like diabetes does crop up it won't be on their medical record. Avoiding insurance rate increases because of pre-existing conditions.

Pearls of Wisdom

Doug Winfrey and Dr. Wallach discuss a news article regarding a research study on high blood pressure. The study followed over 1300 men and women until their deaths. About two thirds were women with a history of high blood pressure. All participants died on average around age 89. Following their deaths autopy results found that some 48% had one ore more brain lesions. Similar to the kind found in those with Alzheimer's disease.
