Dead Doctors Don't Lie 05/15/18

Dr. Joel Wallach begins the show today discussing professional athletes. Stating that pro athletes on average live to be age 62 except for pro football athletes who only make to 51 on average. Asserting that when athletes practice, work out and play they are sweating out a soup of nutrients.

Pearls of Wisdom

Doug Winfrey and Dr. Wallach discuss a news article about a study about the effects of a physically active job. This meta analysis looked at data from 17 previous studies involving 194,000 men between 1960 and 2010. Finding those working an physically active job have an 18% increased risk of early death compared to a typical office worker. Doug and Doc assert that this is probably because these men are sweating out nutrients.
