Pearls of Wisdom
Doug Winfrey and Dr. Wallach discuss a news article about a report out from the United Health Foundation. The report lists the healthiest and least healthy states in the U.S. The group looked at 35 different factors affecting people's health. These included rates of smoking, obesity, physical inactivity, low birth weight, drug deaths, environmental conditions like air pollution, and the number of doctors, dentists and mental health providers per 100,000 people. The healthiest state was Massachusetts with the least healthiest state was Georgia.
