Dr. Joel Wallach begins the show today discussing longevity. Citing research from the Max Planck Institute that states the is no genetic limit to how long humans can live. Stating he believes humans have the genetic capacity to live to be 200 years old and possibly more. Contending that the current average of Americans is much below 200. Because they are not getting all of the raw materials the human body needs for longevity.

Doug Winfrey and Dr. Wallach discuss a news article on a study of heart burn drugs. Researchers from the Washington University School of Medicine looked at death rates on nearly 300,000 veterans. All of whom were taking proton pump inhibitors and followed them for five years. Finding those taking PPIs were 25% more likely to die during the study period. When compared to those taking a different heartburn medication.
