Dead Doctors Don't Lie 02/05/18

Dr. Joel Wallach begins the show discussing the importance of minerals in the diet for good health. Stating that some long lived cultures are lucky enough to live where there are minerals in the soil. Outlining several common health challenges asserting they are all due to mineral deficiencies. Contending that people should supplement because there aren't minerals in the soil any longer.

Pearls of Wisdom

Doug Winfrey and Dr. Wallach discuss a news article about a report out from the government. The report states that the use of antipsychotic drugs to sedate the elderly in nursing homes has gone down. Advocacy groups contend that although down the percentage is still at 16%. These groups state that these homes are using these drugs in an off label fashion. The reason is to control the patients so they can get by with less staff to save money.
